Instagram vs. Reality

Sometimes I like to compare images to amazing landscapes, where I feel like it is not real. For this technological implementation, we were given the gift of editing.

I still remember the first time that I saw the mountains of Colorado. Even though I was standing right there looking at them, it still felt like they were not real and that it was just a picture I was looking at. I have seen pictures of Colorado before where I swear that someone made edits to it to make it look like that. To make it look like all of it was perfect and nothing seemed out of place. Well, standing there, I could see that those pictures were not altered at all and that the Colorado mountains really looked that perfect. We were given a chance to edit and play around with images and let me tell you, the image that I edited looked just like the Colorado mountains.

I don't mean the magestic, perfect, clean picture. I meant the legit edges and roughness of the rocks on the mountains lol. This was by far the hardest assignment because i had no clue what I was doing! I could not even erase parts of an image properly!!! I really hope I never have to edit a picture again because National Geographics will use me as an example of the WORST edits to ever be made! Compare these two images...like I said...I can't even delete things correctly. Please enjoy the beautiful disaster of my editing.
